President Yoon of South Korea has accused the North of “effectively a territorial invasion” by test-firing a salvo of ballistic missiles, including one that crossed the maritime border between the two countries.
The communist North fired at least 23 missiles of various types, the highest tally for a single day, into seas around the Korean Peninsula. It was the first time a missile had crossed the maritime border between the two countries since the peninsula was divided in 1953.
